Accessibility

Accessibility at TreatmentMD.

We want every reader to be able to use TreatmentMD, whatever device or assistive technology they use.

01

Our standard

We build TreatmentMD to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, at level AA.

We check each new page against them as it is built, on a phone first and then on a laptop.

02

What that means on this site

  1. Readable text

Text meets the contrast the guidelines ask for on every background it appears on, not only on white.

  2. Targets you can tap

Buttons, menus and other controls are at least 44 pixels across.

  3. Keyboard access

Menus and controls work from a keyboard, and the one in focus is always outlined.

  4. More than color

Links are underlined, labels carry words and ratings carry numbers, so color never carries meaning alone.

  5. Less motion

If your device asks for reduced motion, the site turns its animations off.
